  • A 10-year-old Ohio girl who was suspended from riding the school bus for bullying will likely think twice before misbehaving again.
  •  The girl’s father, Matt Cox, punished her by making her walk five miles to school in 36-degree weather. To drive the point home, he captured the exhausting trek on video, which he posted online. As of late afternoon Thursday, the video had amassed more than 15 million views.
  •  “Let me make this extremely clear: Bullying is unacceptable, especially in my household,” Cox said. “”I know a lot of you parents are not going to agree with this, but that is all right because I’m doing what I feel is right to teach my daughter a lesson and to stop her from bullying.”

  •  Do you think the girl’s punishment was appropriate?
  • What would you do if your child was caught bullying?

An Ohio father who made his daughter go to school five miles (8 km) as a punishment for intimidation provoked a debate about parenting.

After Kirsten was suspended from the school bus for a second bullying offense for three days, Matt Cox decided to teach her a life lesson.

He made her trudge to school on a cold day while he followed behind in a car.
